Katie is the new GRA at APL starting January 2017.  She is a Master’s candidate at the UT iSchool with a BA in History, focusing on African American History.

Jessica is the GRA at APL (Jan 2015-Feb 2017). She is an iSchool Student with a background in Architectural History with an emphasis in medieval architecture.

Martha González Palacios, Architecture & Planning Librarian

Martha is responsible for collection development, reference, instruction and digital projects at the Architecture & Planning Library.

Katherine Isham, Graduate Research Assistant

Kathi is a graduate student in the MSIS program at UT’s School of Information.  Her interests include archives, the arts, and systems that promote access to information.  She is currently working on projects involving adapting archival practices to accommodate non-traditional materials and the challenge of archiving for arts organizations.

Stephanie Phillips, Student Assistant

Stephanie, a native Midwesterner, moved to Austin in August of 2013 to pursue her Master of Science in Historic Preservation after completing an Interior Design degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her interests include architectural materials, public interest design, and the tension created by the juxtaposition of historic and new construction in cityscapes and adaptive reuse projects. Stephanie frequently blogs about new book arrivals, treasures she finds in special collections, archival research, and library events.
