Thursday October 14: the creators of The Fantasticks will be on hand for an intimate conversation moderated by the head of UT’s MFA Dance Program, Holly Williams.
“What Starts Here: A Conversation with Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt” begins at 3 pm in the Roberts Reading Room at the Fine Arts Library and will be followed by a reception for the exhibition In a Major Key: Artifacts from 50 years of The Fantasticks.
This production holds the Guinness World Record for the world’s longest running musical. The exhibit features archival material loaned by Harvey Schmidt.
All are welcome to attend, but do expect some disruption in the Fine Arts Library Reading Room (third floor) on Thursday afternoon.
