From 2007-2009 the artist Liz Hingley photographed people of multifaiths who lived along a two-mile stretch of Soho Road in Birmingham England. These photographs, published in Hingley’s book Under Gods, can be seen at UT in an exhibition curated by Dr. Glenn Peers, Professor of Art History, and on display in the East Gallery of the Visuall Arts Center from September 21-October 27. Images from Under Gods can also be view in DASe at https://dase.laits.utexas.edu/collections Hingley will speak about her work on September 24 at 4:00pm in the Art Building, Room 1.110.
